Hanwell Christmas tree sale

Posted by Dan Hodges on Nov 28, 08 03:47 PM in Local Authority

Real Christmas trees will go on sale underneath Hanwell clock tower to raise cash for charity.

And mulled wine and mince pies will be offered to shoppers at two events - in Leeland Road, West Ealing, on December 4, and in the centre of Hanwell on December 20, from 4pm.

.

Ealing council's regeneration leader, David Millican, said: "All businesses and town centres are feeling the pinch at the moment because of the economic downturn.

"There is so much on offer in the borough this Christmas, there really is something for all the family. I'm sure the host of free events and entertainment will help make shopping a more pleasant experience and I hope it will encourage people to shop locally this year."

We'd like to hear from you.
