MP Virendra Sharma paid a visit to businesses in Hanwell earlier this month to hear their concerns.

Local traders had asked the Southall MP for help regarding individual problems, including business rates, the lack of parking and outstanding planning matters.

CHILDREN in Hanwell were able to enjoy a brand new playscheme which they were consulted on.

The site, which opened earlier this month, was officially opened by Ealing Mayor Ian Green at King Georges Field.

A WOMAN was thrown off her motorbike after a car smashed into her on Monday morning.

The 25-year-old was travelling along Uxbridge Road, West Ealing Broadway ,when a car ploughed into her just after 8am.

Severe House Blaze in West Ealing

Fire crews battled to contain a house blaze following fears someone was trapped inside.

The Ealing and Southall brigade were called at 3am on Wednesday to reports of a severe fire ripping through a mid-terraced house in Midhurst Road, West Ealing.

Shoppers will be given three hours of free parking at a supermarket in Hanwell.

Big Toddle In Hanwell

Barnardo's Big Toddle 2009 is open to children under five and will take place on Friday June 5.
