Severe House Blaze in West Ealing

Fire crews battled to contain a house blaze following fears someone was trapped inside.

The Ealing and Southall brigade were called at 3am on Wednesday to reports of a severe fire ripping through a mid-terraced house in Midhurst Road, West Ealing.

Four engines arrived on the scene and it is believed the fire started in the back bedroom of the house which engulfed the loft conversion.

Fire fighters battled for an hour to put out the blaze and the cause is still being investigated.
