Man Fell off Hanwell Church roof

A man fell of a church roof on Saturday after attempting to clean leaves out of the guttering.

Ealing Fire crew were called to St Thomas Vicarage, Boston Road, Hanwell, at 11am to reports that the church warden had fallen on to a flat roof.

David Jewell was put on a spinal board and had a neck brace fitted as a precaution before being taken to hospital.

His injuries were not believed to be serious.
