Flat fire in West Ealing

A kitchen was destroyed on Sunday afternoon after a pan fire got out of control.

Fire Crews were called at 2:20pm on Sunday 5 to a small block of flats in Coldershaw Road in West Ealing.

The kitchen was damaged by smoke and fire after the owner forgot about a pan with oil heating up on the stove.

There were no smoke alarms and no injuries were reported.

Ealing Fire Crew contained the flames within an hour and a half.
