Hanwell Priest's Calling For Others

A Hanwell priest has been appointed as the vocations director for the Diocese of Westminster.

Father Richard Nesbitt, who was ordained in June 2007, is currently serving as assistant priest in the Parish of Our Lady and St Joseph.

Fr Richard will replace Fr Chris Vipers, who has held the post since 2001, and will be helping people who have heard the calling from God.

He said: "With the grace of God I look forward to continuing the strong foundations left behind by Fr Chris and with our new Archbishop and a new team, I will be working with them as well as with priests and laity across the diocese to encourage and nurture new vocations to the priesthood."

Fr Richard will be based at Allen Hall, the Diocesan Seminary and can be contacted on 020 7349 5624.
