Charity event at Oaklands Primary School

OAKLANDS Primary School in Hanwell will be doing its bit for charity with a special event on Friday (October 9).

The school will be taking part in The Big Knit, an event involving Age Concern, Innocent Smoothies and Sainsburys.


The school will host a knit-in, where members of the local community will put their knitting needles to work making small woolie hats to place on smoothie bottles.

Anyone who is interested in lending support should visit the school in Oaklands Road at 2.30pm on Friday and join in.
