Hanwell hairdresser does Halloween fundraiser
A Halloween fundraiser was a big success in Hanwell on Saturday night, raising more than 300 for a little girl who has cancer.
Robyn Higgins (7) has stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer and her family needs to raise £300,000 to send her to a specialist hospital in New York for a revolutionary antibody treatment that could save her life.
Staff at Angela Francis Salon in Greenford Avenue, Hanwell held a Halloween fundraiser and raised a fantastic £345 for Robyn.
They did 'spooky' hair designs for children along with tricks and treats.
The Cuckoo cafe across the road on the Greenford Avenue also chipped in by dressing up for their evening customers and donating all desserts, sweets and coffees to the appeal.
The salon will be running other fundraising events for Robyn in the coming months including a carol singing evening with mince pies and mulled wine in December.
