Cancer care nurse first Pride in our People nominee

A cancer care nurse, who helps terminally ill patients in the final days of their lives, is the first person to be nominated for our Pride in our People Awards 2010.


Olive Hoare, from Northolt, is one of nine Ealing Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses, who is also fronting the Gazette-backed campaign to raise £170,000 to improve services in the borough.A Marie Curie nurse for 13 years, Olive, 62, also worked at Meadow House Hospice.
