A teenager from Ealing has made it into the final of a television talent show as part of an all singing, dancing and acting group.

Francesca Barberis of Argyle Road, West Ealing, is thrilled to have made it to the last glee-like group on Channel 5's 'Don't Stop Believing' show being aired on Sundays.

The 17-year-old, who is part of Songtimers, a 20-strong group of the most talented Songtime Theatre Arts students, performed live in front of the audience and judges to win the public vote.

The judges, made up of Anastacia, ex-Eastender Tamsin Outhwaite and boy band Blue's Duncan James, applauded their energetic and passionate showdown.

They will perform again this Sunday (22) at 5.45pm and Francesca, a student of Notting Hill and Ealing High School, said: "I am just so excited.

"I am thoroughly enjoying all the rehearsals and performing with my show choir- it has been a great experience so far and has certainly been keeping my mind off my exam results due out this week."

Matthew Chandler, principal of Songtime said: "We're thrilled to have made the finals of the show, and it's wonderful that all the rehearsals have paid off.

"The Songtimers have worked so hard to get to this stage and I am so proud of each and every one of them.

"We are also overwhelmed by the local support we have had, so please be sure to tune in once again on the 22nd - and most of all to vote."
