Blood on pavement where man assaulted in West Ealing

A man in his fifties was assaulted on Uxbridge Road just after 6pm on Saturday.

One witness said she could see blood stains on the pavement outside Hawelis restaurant in West Ealing and the road was cordoned off by police tape.

Police and ambulance crews were called at around 6.15pm to reports of an assault and paramedics treated a 52-year-old man before he was taken to hospital.
