West Ealing teen misses out on TV talent final

A talented teenager who appeared on Channel 5's 'Don't Stop Believing' programme narrowly missed out on winning the final.

Francesca Barberis of Argyle Road, West Ealing, starred in the television talent show as part of Songtimers, a 20-strong all singing, dancing and acting group.

But the 17-year-old, who performed Alicia Key's 'Empire State of Mind' song lost out to rivals DaleDiva.

Matthew Chandler, principal of Songtime theatre school, said: "I'm so proud of the entire group.

"We have learnt so much during the process and our students have worked so very hard."
