A community group is holding a public meeting on the future of West Ealing on Monday November 22.

West Ealing Neighbours will be discussing the impact of the Local Development Framework, a planning policy for Ealing from 2011 to 2026, which could see 1,245 homes built along the Uxbridge Road corridor with some 3,500 people moving into the area.

A community group in Hanwell have set up the borough's first twin town with a war-torn village in Palestine.

The Hanwell Friends of Sabastiya (HAFSA) have teamed up with the locals of the village in the West bank of Palestine and hope the twinning will promote friendship, as well as cultural and educational understanding between the two communities.
