Assault in West Ealing

A man was assaulted in broad daylight just before Sunday afternoon.

Police cordoned off Elers Road at the corner of Culmington Road, West Ealing, at around 12pm after a man in his thirties was assaulted.

Restaurant for waste blunder

A restauranteur has been hauled to court and ordered to pay out more than £1,300 for failing to produce evidence that he was disposing of his business waste properly.

Mohammed Hosseiny, 31, who owns Persian Palace, Uxbridge Road, West Ealing, pleaded guilty to the offence at Ealing Magistrates' Court last month.

A woman who started a fire at Southall Police Station said she heard voices telling her to do it.

Former Southall resident Helen Wiggins, 39, admitted a charge of arson at Isleworth Crown Court last week. She was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act.

Man Murdered In West Ealing

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was shot dead in West
Ealing on Friday night.

An ambulance was called at about 8.50pm on Friday to a man shot in an
alleyway off Cavendish Avenue.
